House of Hope is a Christian ministry to international students, scholars, and their families in the Virginia Tech community.

• We seek to serve a range of needs including:

  • • Offering Friendship and Help Navigating American Culture

    • Improving English Conversational and Reading Skill

    • Exploring the Christian Worldview and Learning what the Bible says

We are happy to minister to international students whether they are Christian believers or not. We seek both to help Christians grow and be equipped for a lifetime of faithfully following Christ, and we also hope to help first time inquirers & seekers to learn more about the Christian faith and the “Amazing Grace” of God in Jesus Christ, His only Son.

This ministry is our free gift to you, and we do not pressure anyone to believe what we have come to believe. Each one must decide that for themselves. We simply want to share what we have learned so far in our own search for Truth.

We offer classes where you can practice your English, and ask questions. Sometimes, often on weekends, we take short trips with our international friends to explore some of the interesting things to see and do in the area. We also offer Bible studies in small groups for those interested in learning more about Christianity and Jesus.
