Following are the weekly opportunities you can take part in this Fall 2023. We hope you will join us!

Outdoor Nature Art & English Conversation Group

Meet up with a group of friends in the great outdoors for English conversation & friendship! Bring your watercolors and/or colored pencils to paint or sketch* the beautiful outdoors while we talk. This group will meet once or twice a month depending on the weather in different picture-perfect locations (Heritage Park, Hahn Garden, Duck Pond, Pandapas Pond, etc.), around the NRV to paint, draw & talk together.

*No art skill needed! This is a casual group that just likes being outside and enjoying nature! All you need to bring is your own art materials!*

Monday Night Bible Study Group

Topic: The Power & Peace of Knowing God

Did you know that getting to know God through His own words will give you strength & confidence for living your own life? Join us for this powerful study of who God is & what He wants for you.

Thursday Mornings International Women’s Connection

Come practice your English, make connections with new friends and strengthen old friendships as we grow and learn together! We welcome women of all countries, all faiths, and of all English levels to join us.

Discussion topics will include: American Culture, Local Resources, Cooking, Home Safety, Cultural Traditions and art & craft activities & a special Christmas Program too!

Friday Mornings International Women’s Bible Study Group

Topic: A Study on Forgiveness: Breaking the Power of the Past

As imperfect people living in an imperfect world, we eventually confront in nearly every relationship the need to extend or receive forgiveness. But when the wounds run deep, forgiveness doesn’t come easy.

This eye-opening study deals with the difficult questions of forgiveness, including How can I forgive when the pain is so great? Does forgiving mean I have to forget the past? and What if I choose not to forgive? As you dig into what the Bible says on this vital topic, you’ll encounter the depths of God’s own mercy and discover how choosing forgiveness can free you from a painful past.

English Conversation Group

When? Meeting Time & Location TBD

Practice your English with a native English speaker. Improve your English pronunciation and expand your vocabulary while learning about American culture and history as we take turns reading and discussing brief articles on American history.

Friday Night Lights

When? Fridays at 7-9pm

Come together on Friday Nights for fun, dinner & meaningful conversation with other International Friends! We hope Friday Night Lights will become the Bright Spot of your week!

We will alternate meeting at either Michelle and Phil Parker’s home or at Steve & Stacey Wilkin’s home.

This year we will be hosting the first Friday Night Lights on September, 1st at Steve and Stacey’s Home. See you at 7pm!
